The Journey of Faith

Since I started this Entrepreneurial journey, I have shared bits and pieces of this faith walk as I am led. This journey has truly proved to me that walking by faith has levels; so I have always thought I had lots of faith because I would take some bold steps in life but this is probably the scariest yet fulfilling experience I’ve had.

Many times we talk about living by faith but when the time comes for us to walk in obedience to make a step; we get crippled and run back to our comfort zones. Many times we sing the songs “Lord have your way, Lord I surrender, Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders, Jesus whatever you want me to do, I’ll do it”…  I am not sure if we really stop to reflect on these songs and these prayers.

I can say I am a testament that when God gives you a command, it can be so scary, you wonder if God is really serious. But yes He usually is.

This is why it is so important to have your own personal relationship with God because your faith cannot be walked out by anyone else. Your calling is unique to you and sometimes you might be tempted to doubt the commands, but when you know your Daddy’s voice and His heart and that His plans for you are good despite being a bit scared, you will have peace and assurance that He will walk with you along the way.

I wrote a blog called “Purpose over Comfort” in which I encourage believers to choose to walk in their God-given purpose (which requires surrender, faith and sometimes a bit of discomfort initially) over their familiar territory. “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him”– Hebrews 11:6

Whatever aspect of the faith journey you are currently on, be encouraged, God is with you!

I love you and God loves you more…
