33 Dreams I’ve accomplished over 33 years

I’m celebrating my 33rd birthday, woot woot!! I feel a bit weird saying that, I remember my sweet 16 as if it was yesterday and now, I’m 33 wow!!  Anyway I’m grateful to be alive, in my sound mind and living My Royal Reality.

This year I decided to blog about 33 Dreams I’ve accomplished over the last 33 years. If you know you me, you know how obsessed I am about writing down my dreams, setting goals and achieving them. It is also good to track your accomplishments for motivation. For the past few years close to my birthday, I would get a phrase from God to inspire my year. For my 32nd birthday, I got #crazyfaith and boi it has been truly a blessed year. For my 33rd year, I got #Dreambigger so I’m excited about what God has in store.

I’m truly writing this blog hoping someone will be inspired to believe that having faith, putting in the work and staying obedient will result in a life of purposeful impact and unmeasurable joy. This is not about comparison, there are many people that accomplished far more than I am and achieved other dreams. Remember, don’t measure your success with someone else’s ruler and if you haven’t started going after your dreams yet… I’m hoping you will be motivated to believe that nothing is impossible with God.

This is not in any specific order; I’m just sharing as I remember (your girl getting old aye). It was hard to choose 33 because I’ve always been a goal-getter but these are the ones that came to the top of my mind:

  1. Accepted the gift of salvation and surrendered my life to Jesus Christ (best decision ever.. my life has never been the same)
  2. Became a mother of the most beautiful and loving baby girl Christelle
  3. Published 6 books with 3 Amazon best sellers
  4. Purchased my 1st apartment at age 24
  5. Travelled my 1st time at 17 years old to Nassau, Bahamas
  6. Passed Common Entrance at age 10 to the prestigious Convent of Mercy “Alpha Academy High”
  7. Exactly 20 years after graduating from St Jude’s Primary I was the guest speaker at their graduation

  13. Quit my 9-5 job before age 30 and became a full-time kingdom entrepreneur (that’s all GOD)
  14. Completed a Certificate in Biblical Studies at Portmore Bible Academy (one of my best experiences ever)

  22. Earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies at the University of the West Indies (my life dream)
  23. Continue making my parents and siblings proud
  24. Graduated my high school as one of the top students at age 15 with 6 distinctions in CXC
  25. Got accepted in Campion College sixth form (this was a big deal for me back then but couldn’t attend because my parents couldn’t afford school fee) then I got a scholarship to attend Alpha Academy sixth form
  26. Got my 1st job at the First Caribbean Bank at 16 years old and successfully built a career over 14 years in Accounting, Banking, Administration and Procurement
  27. Attended Pinky Promise Conference twice and got to meet one of my closest friends Natasha, met many other amazing women including Heather Lindsey and Lisa Bevere and experienced epic worship sessions
  28. Fell in love (and out of love)!
  29. Travelled to Barbados, Panama and various states in the USA
  30. Travelled to New York City with my brother Dads (this was a big deal for us to travel together)
  31. Spoken on over 300 platforms including schools, universities, conferences, online summits, podcasts, seminars, workshops etc including speaking at the United States Embassy (come on this is a big deal) in the last 4 years
  32. Earned my 1st US$1000 in 1 Day (not from publishing but from coaching- this was a big deal, soon get to US$3000 in 1 Day lol)
  33. Living my perfect day — Able to work from home, manage my own time, rent an office space, buy myself a Bridgette Sandals and be able to spend as much time with Christelle as I want to. (Can’t believe I wrote these desires in 2016 and to see that in 2020 I’m living it out, really is a dream come through).

Again, I’m sure there are many more dreams or goals I’ve accomplished but these were the 1st 33 that came to mind. To say I’m humbled, grateful and happy is an understatement…. God has truly been soo faithful to me. This girl that grew up in the inner-city in poverty, went to school many days without lunch money, sleeping on the ground etc. have come a very long way… Cheers to 33!!

What are some dreams you’ve accomplished? I’d love to hear from you!

Awesome accomplishments! Surely these dreams were anchored in Christ. You are definitely an inspiration to both the young and old. Continue to impact like only Crystal Daye can.

  6. I am Inspired by this Crystal. This is a great way to celebrate “YOU”. Many times we put the work in and think that’s it. God has been our biggest cheer leader for years before we were even born. Even in our mess, He’s still cheering us on. I just turned 25 and looking back on my journey, all I can say is, thank you Jesus. If it had not been for the Lord who was on my side, I don’t know where I would have been.
    Glorrrryy to God 🙏🏾
