10 Sure-Fire Ways to Have A Purposeful and Prosperous 2021

As a Jesus girl, single mom, marketplace mentor, book, business and brand coach, a corporate trainer, international speaker, publishing expert and podcaster. You may be wondering how in the world do I succeed at wearing all the hats I do. One way in which I do this is by planning in advance and outlining what you want to be successful in.

Want the same for yourself?

Here are 10 sure-fire ways of making your dream a reality:

1 – Define Success for Yourself

Success can be defined as a favourable outcome concerning something that has happened. Though this is true, we can often be deceived by the success of another person’s situation, believing that we should adopt what their definition of success is. Be careful, just as you are different from others, so your definition of success may have to differ. Before attempting anything else on this list, write down your definition of success. Is it concerning wealth? Having healthy relationships with your family? Accomplishing something at work? Whatever it is/they are, ensure that it fulfils you.

2 – Journal Your Vision

Your vision is what you desire to achieve in the long run. In this case, your vision is the essence or umbrella of what you want to achieve in 2021. Pray about it and journal it. It is your vision that will keep you focused on what your end goal is, which will help you to resist distractions, things that do not align with your values and staying on track with what God has called you to do in this Earth. Look back on it when you need to.

3 – Implement A Success Routine

If you want to succeed, you have to position yourself to succeed. Create and implement a routine for success. This includes goal setting, daily routines and constantly or occasionally evaluating where you are concerning your vision of success.

4 – Commit to Be A Continuous Learner

In this world we live, we have much access to information, it is at our fingertips. Invest in yourself by being a continuous learner. If you do this, you will be investing in your growth and the substance what you are able to contribute to achieving your personal vision of success.

5 – Practice Self-Care

Gandhi was right, we do find ourselves as we lose ourselves in the service of others. However, while you may always want to serve, remember that you are just as important as those you are serving, so ensure you take care of yourself. Afterall, if you don’t take care of yourself you can’t give your best self to serve others.

6 – Break Your Goals Down

Ensure that your goals are S.M.A.R.T – smart, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely. Also, break them down into objectives – what exactly you want to achieve. This makes it more likely for you to achieve them.

7 – Surround Yourself with Other Goal-Getters

Truly, you are like the five people you spend your most time around. Those you are around often contribute to your way of thinking and therefore what you achieve. Proverbs 27:17 says “iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Iron can not sharpen wood.

8 – Hone Your Personal Brand

Though you are not a business, you are a brand. What you wear, what you say, what you do represents your brand. Think about who you want to be and stay true to that.

9 – Celebrate big and small WINS

Small wins are just as important as big wins, in fact, they contribute to big wins. Small wins often aren’t seen by others, but you or your circle, celebrate them anyway.

  1. Manage Your Money Wisely

Managing your money is crucial to your success. Budget your expenses and be disciplined to commit to them, for no one else but yourself.
