Be like the E.A.G.L.E.: Show Up, Elevate And Dominate by keleen rm brown

Elevation is a gift that comes wrapped and has many boxes within. You may never know what to expect but at the end it will be good and worthwhile.

Elevation doesn’t come the way we expect, as a matter of fact we never really see the signs. Even if the sign slapped us in our head, we still wouldn’t get it.

It will never come as you expect, it comes as opportunities unseemingly and unassuming, easily missed and misunderstood. It comes in experiences that before enough know it you are neck deep, there is no where to go but to keep going. It comes like a tunnel dark, lonely and scary but you keep moving, family, stumbling, searching for just a glimmer of light and hope. That when you finally see it,  suddenly it all makes sense, suddenly your strength is renewed, suddenly your faith is restored, suddenly your vitals are back to full capacity.

God mandates us to live a purposeful, intentional, self-controlled, and prayerful life (1 Peter 4:7 TPT). It seems daunting and overwhelming especially these days, but it is possible. We have all the tools we will ever need and the best kept secret He has already equipped us. Once we accept the assignment then those gifts and talents begin to unfold. His revealing word continues to peel back the layers of greatness built-in.

It won’t be smooth sailing all the time, but if we appreciate that we have a God that is a Pilot that Masters the seas, then we are already victorious! The realization that He is a covenant keeping God and that His word will, shall and must come to pass! That is reason to dance and give praise. Great is His faithfulness!

The challenge therefore, is to be like the E.A.G.L.E. to truly live the elevated life as God designed.

E: Excellence

“Eagles can fly as high as 15,000 feet and up to 160 km/hr”

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31 KJV

Go Higher in every aspect of your life: thoughts, deeds and action. Whatever situations that may come, take

the higher ground-the word! His word is our promise in good times and bad times that the best is yet to come.

A mindset of excellence is the first step to be elevated. Seeing as God sees, opportunities where others see failures; possible when others say impossible; life when others say death; strength where others see weakness;

He is our example and father, for in God’s presence he believed that God can raise the dead and call into being things that don’t even exist yet.[b] (Romans 4:17b TPT)

A: Attitude

“An eagle’s  vision is 5x better than the humans vision, they can see up to 3km away.”

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2 KJV)

Attitude determines Altitude! Truer words have never been spoken. So act accordingly! Do your part, walk in faith! Greatness is in your DNA. Pen the instructions that God has given you and watch the manifestation. When you do this and you work towards these goals, destiny aligns as God’s will is being done. Walking on the word is the hardest part, because when you do,  the word is the seed to the success fruit! Walk in faith. Elevate your attitude! Zone in on the vision and make every step lead you to accomplishing ultimate goal, making the bigger picture clearer.

And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

(Habakkuk 2:2-3 KJV)

G: God-fearing

“Eagle’s drop their prey from great heights to incapacitate them.”

If you develop a God-fearing environment then anything that is not of God has to bow to his power and supremacy. Basking in God’s presence creates an environment of grace, mercy and favour that rewrites the story of your life. Without your effort, things have to conform and align to His will and purpose over your life. Whenever the challenges come, if it seems like you’re surrounded, don’t be dismayed. You have the advantage, bring the enemy into your comfort zone, that’s a sweat-less victory!

10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Phillipians 2:10-11 NKJV)

L: Loyal

“Eagles mate like a traditional husband and wife for life”

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? (Numbers 23:19 KJV)

We can have confidence that God will be with us from beginning to the end. He is a friend that stickers closer than a brother! Under His covenant, we are guaranteed lifetime membership, sponsored by His salvation free plan. Be reminded if whose you are and Whom you serve. Walk in that confidence knowing that His purpose must come to pass. Faint not!

Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!” (Hebrews 13:5 AMP)

E: Empowerment

“Eagles don’t push their eagles to fly feeding is delayed and the nest is slowly dismantled I  order to make the environment uncomfortable, once it is time to hunt and fly”

There is nothing new under the sun, but we know there are times and seasons and Who ultimately controls this.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:  (Ecclesiastes 3 KJV)

A good indicator for elevation is stagnation, lack of growth and uncomfortableness. Those feelings are your

spirit man awakening to purpose and will. That spur and push for you to move pass mediocrity and instead move with alacrity is greatness personified! Enjoy every moment for what it’s worth and be so sensitive to the move and voice of God leading and directing your steps. Keep climbing, keep stepping, keep moving, keep flying, keep gliding, keep soaring! Rest if you must and start as many times as you need to. Don’t get weary. Don’t give up!

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 KJV)

So, go forth in His grace and faith!

Declarations:

  •       No more will I settle for less, but I will achieve great things!
  •       I’m an overcomer!
  •       I’m a conqueror!
  •       I’m the apple of His eye!
  •       I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

 Be Blessed. Be A Blessing!
